Clamps by spring over the wrist or ankle, pressing a flat metal plate to the skin for the limb leads instead of adhering like a chest tab.
An ECG limb clamp electrode is a reusable spring clamp that carries the heart's signal from the skin of a limb to a lead wire. Two molded arms pivot on a pin against a return spring, and a conductive plate set into one jaw presses on the forearm or wrist and the lower leg or ankle. The plate is stainless steel, or brass plated with silver, silver chloride or nickel, chosen for low contact resistance rather than for strength. The back of the clamp carries a fixed connector for the lead wire. Four are used at a time, one at each limb position, and each carries a color from one of the two lead color codes. Under IEC 60601-2-25 the right arm is red, the left arm yellow, the left leg green and the right leg black; under the American Heart Association code the right arm is white, the left arm black, the left leg red and the right leg green. The two codes are never mixed on one set. It differs from a limb plate electrode, which is a flat pad held by a strap, and from a chest electrode, which holds by suction.

- The 3 mm socket called DIN in this trade is not the 1.5 mm touchproof pin of DIN 42802, which belongs to EEG leads
- Molded plastic body, latex free, reusable, supplied non sterile
- Adult and pediatric sizes are cataloged as separate articles
- Colored to one code and one only: IEC 60601-2-25 red right arm, yellow left arm, green left leg, black right leg; or the American Heart Association code, white right arm, black left arm, red left leg, green right leg

Every batch of steel is ordered to a specified grade and arrives with the mill's own certificate, which identifies the mill and states the grade. TGI checks the material at the factory against its own requirement before it goes into production. That check is TGI's own inspection, not an independent laboratory test.
TGI manufactures in its own factory in Sialkot and also supplies articles made by contracted partner workshops, to TGI's specification. Which applies to a given article is confirmed on your order.
One-year guarantee on Premium and Executive tier instruments, hollowware and sterilization containers: any technical manufacturing defect, including material faults and rust, is replaced free of charge. Damage from handling or accidents is not covered. The year runs from the day the goods leave Sialkot.
If something is wrong with a delivery (a manufacturing defect, or a short or wrong article), tell us on WhatsApp within 7 days of delivery, with a video and photographs of what arrived. Replacement instruments are sent free of charge and dispatched within 24 hours of us seeing them; you pay the shipping, and they reach you as a normal order does.
Damage that happened after the goods left Sialkot is a claim against your carrier. The video of your parcel at the shipping office is sent to you before shipment and is the evidence that claim needs.
